Angela Robinson M.S., CFP®, ChFC®, APMA®, CLF®, CRPS®, CRPC®, BFATM
CEO, Wealth Advisor
Angela’s passion for finance began early in life. At seven years old, Angela opened her first checking account with money earned from A’s on her report card and was fascinated with the power of compound interest. She saw first-hand how her money grew over time and the pride she felt purchasing her own basketball for eleven dollars.
Angela has a natural curiosity about the financial industry as it is always changing. It helps her provide creative solutions for her clients who in turn can make more informed choices regarding their financial future. “My advice can make a difference in people’s livelihoods and lifestyles,” says Angela. Listening to and working with her clients on their long-term financial plans is what drives Angela every single day. It gives her great satisfaction when her clients are able to purchase their dream home, send their kids to college, or even retire sooner than expected.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Angela started her career at Waddell & Reed as an independent contractor in 2005 and continues with LPL Financial after the 2021 merger. Angela was a Waddell & Reed top advisor and selected for the Advisors Experience Committee, which provided feedback to executive management on important company initiatives.
Angela attended the University of Central Missouri on a softball scholarship, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology. She later returned to earn her Master of Science Degree in Industrial Management. Angela obtained the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) and the Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor (CRPC®) designations from the College For Financial Planning. She also obtained the Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF®) and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations from the American College. Angela earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Angela has also earned her Accredited Portfolio Management AdvisorSM (APMA®) designation.
Angela was born and raised in Illinois and played softball while at Rend Lake College and the University of Central Missouri.
