As the world changes, so too does the way in which we invest. Environmental, Social, and Governance investing, or ESG, is a newer way for clients to invest in causes they care about. ESG centers around certain criteria to help individual investors pair their values to companies who invest with same values. That may include things like environmental causes, waste, pollution, or natural resource conservation.

Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) / Environmental Social Governance (ESG) investing has certain risks based on the fact that the criteria excludes securities of certain issuers for non-financial reasons and, therefore, investors may forgo some market opportunities and the universe of investments available will be smaller.
